Dr. Thompson lectures at American River College in Sacramento. He also directs ARCO, a solid, like-no-other, multi-generational, community college orchestra. Salsa and Hip-hop and Beethoven and who knows what, will live on.
"I have had the opportunity to work with very many outstanding musicians. But that’s not always what determines happiness for me. The diversity in our orchestra is something I really enjoy." Steven Thompson
Hailing from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Damdinjav has held the position of Concert Master of the American River Orchestra for six seasons. She is also a member of the Solano Symphony Orchestra.
“I’m happy to play in an orchestra with so much diversity of ages and cultures. It’s exciting to work with all levels of musicians and working together, we grow together.” Bolormaa Damdinjav
Musicians are always welcome!
Come see if we are a good fit for you. Rehearsals are Fall and Spring semesters on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 9:30 pm in the ARC Band Room.
"The caliber of ARC’s music program is crazy awesome--it's the jewel of their whole school. Almost all the staff have doctorates and they have such a large influence in the surrounding communities, and a large draw. Both the classical and jazz departments of the school are amazing." Happy Patron
